Khulna University of Engineering and Technology, generally known as KUET, in the past BIT, Khulna, is an open designing college of Bangladesh emphasizing training and research on building and innovation. This is a prestigious college for the investigation of building in Khulna, Bangladesh.
Khulna University of Engineering and Technology (KUET), which began working from September 2003, is one of the five open building colleges of Bangladesh in advanced education, innovative work in designing and innovation. This college was set up as Khulna Engineering College in 1974; the school was later changed over to a degree-granting self-governing foundation called Bangladesh Institute of Technology (BIT), Khulna in July 1986 through an administrative law.
The establishment was moved up to college and renamed as Khulna University of Engineering and Technology in September 2003 under the Khulna University of Engineering and Technology Act, 2003. KUET is financed by the legislature through the University Grants Commission. The college is a self-sufficient statutory association of the Government of Bangladesh. There are statutory bodies like Syndicate, Academic Council, Finance Committee, Planning, and Development Committee, Committee for Advance Studies and Research, Academic Committees, and so on for arrangement and basic leadership on parts of the college under the structure of the Act.
The Bachelor of Science in Civil Engineering (B.Sc. Requirements For Admission Test
- Interested candidates ought to passed HSC or equivalent exam in 2018 or they must have ‘A’ level certificate which was got before November 2018.
- They have to get minimum CGPA 4.00 in together of SSC & HSC or similar exam result.
- They must acquire total 18-grade points in both of Mathematics, Chemistry, English & Physics subjects.

Online application fills up & submission date will start from 14th September 2019. Ended date of application in KUET Admission Test Circular 2019-20 will be on 14th October 2019. Within 14th September 2019, applied candidates have to pay application charge by mobile banking. A, T or P symbol application submission last date will be on 14th October 2019.
For admission test, eligible candidates list will be declared on 19th October 2019. Selected candidates list for admission will be announced on 17th November 2019 Selected & waiting list candidates department selection date will begin on 10 December 2019. Class started 1st January 2019.
